What are Oishii Taiken's hours of operation?
Oishii Taiken is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. for lunch, and then from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. for dinner. The operating hours on Saturday and Sunday are from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.
How do I get to Oishii Taiken?
Oishii Taiken is located at 1675A Sainte-Catherine Ouest in the heart of downtown Montreal. It is approximately 1 block from the Guy-Concordia metro station. For more information, click here.
Where can I park?
Since Oishii Taiken is located in downtown Montreal, parking is available on the street only, and often at a small cost (parking tolls). Parking spots are usually full and scarce during peak hours of operation. We recommend arriving early to increase your chances of getting a spot. As an alternative, Oishii Taiken is conveniently located just steps away from Montreal’s Guy-Concordia metro station. Oishii Taiken is a bring-your-own wine establishment.
Does Oishii Taiken offer catering or take-out?
Unfortunately, Oishii Taiken does not offer catering or take-out services. We do, however, offer pick-up services. The pick-up menu is the same as our restaurant menu, and is available for viewing here. To place an order for pick-up, please call us at 514-687-9072. Orders take approximately 30 minutes to be prepared from the moment of order placement over phone before they are ready for pick-up.
Does Oishii Taiken offer a kids menu?
Unfortunately, Oishii Taiken does not offer a kids menu, however guests of all ages are welcome to dine with us! (Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult).
Does Oishii Taiken have gluten-free menu items?
Oishii Taiken does not specifically offer gluten-free menu items, however if you inform us of any dietary restrictions you have upon reservation or your arrival, we are more than happy to accommodate to your needs.
I have allergies. How do I know what I can and can’t eat?
Please inform us of any allergies upon reservation or your arrival. When you are seated, your server will discuss menu options that are compatible with your allergies. Oishii Taiken is pleased to accommodate to allergies and any other dietary restrictions. Substitutions and removals of ingredients are possible.

Does Oishii Taiken have a private dining area available?
Yes, Oishii Taiken has a private dining area available for parties and large groups. To try and ensure availability of this area for your event, we recommend contacting us at least 1 month in advance of the day of your event, however it is always best to call as much in advance as possible.
Can you accommodate large parties and private events at Oishii Taiken?
Oishii Taiken can accommodate parties of up to 40 people in our private dining area only. Using the entire restaurant for events is not offered. See the above question for more information on bookings for parties.
How long will it take to be seated without a reservation?
Wait times vary depending on the day of the week, time, and season. On a typical weekday, wait times are usually no longer than 15 minutes. On a typical weekend day (Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday) wait times can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. These times are estimations and in no way reflect how long you may actually have to wait for a table. The hostess will provide you with accurate estimated wait times upon your arrival.

Oishii Taiken accepts cash, debit, and all major credit cards. An ATM is located next-door, if necessary.

Oishii Taiken is open on all holidays, except on Christmas day and New Year’s day.

Are there any special offers if I visit you on my birthday?
Upon the presentation of a valid personal I.D. with a birth date, Oishii Taiken offers guests whose birthday is within 7 days of their visit a complimentary dessert of your choice off our dessert menu and tea. To see our dessert menu, please click here.
Do you offer discounts for seniors or children?

Should I make a reservation?
Oishii Taiken is usually busy, so to guarantee being seated quickly, we recommend making a reservation in advance. Guests without reservations are welcome, however waiting times vary. Please see the question above about wait times and reservations.
